Freckle Blossom
Darmera Peltata

More commonly known as the Indian Rhubard plant but is not edible. The Saxifrage family consists of about 700 species mainly in eastern Asia, the Himalayas and North America; dispite its locations it looks distinctly tropical. It originated inAsia 2000 years ago, initially grown for its medicinal qualities until the 18th century when it was cultivated for its culinary purposes.
